1865 5th Aug Robert Whigham was born, educated at Fettes College in Edinburgh.
1885 entered 1st Battalion Warwicks
1892 adjutant
1897 transferred to the Egyptian Army
1898 Nile Expedition
1899 he married Isabel Muntz.
1900 During the Boer War he was with Army HQ
1900 DSO
1914 With the BEF
1915 appointed Deputy Chief of the Imperial General Staff.
1918 GOC 59th Division
1919 GOC 62nd Division
1923 Adjutant-General
1927 GOC Eastern Command
1925 Colonel of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment
1931 Retired from the army
1950 Died. Date unknown.
