Officer's Pouchbelt

The Guides pouchbelt and pouch was similar in design to the one worn by British and Indian officers of the Bombay cavalry regiments, being of brown leather with silver chains along the edges. They differed in that the Bombay belts had a whistle attached to the loose chains while the Guides had the light cavalry pickers. The picker plate and chain boss were ornate and peculiar to the Guides. Only the British officers of Guides wore this belt.
