Cap Badge 1902-1911

This fine embroidered badge is in the private collection of Al Lenartson of Michigan who has kindly allowed us to show it here. The cypher in the middle is clearly that of Edward VII and the crown is the King's crown, used on badges from 1901 to 1952. The crown has coloured jewels and crimson velvet cushions. The garter has ARMED CONSTABULARY FIJI in gold wire, on a bright blue silk cushion. This would have been worn by officers on their blue field service caps.
