| Another badge worn on the waist-belt plate. There is no sign of the star here but it must be before 1886 when they ceased to be Bengal Cavalry and became Bengal Lancers. The monogram clearly has 9BC and the two battle honours do not include SUAKIN 1885. The odd thing is that the name HODSON'S HORSE is included. This was not used in the name of the regiment at the time. |
