83rd Regimental Colour c1910

The green Regimental Colour has faded to khaki although the two stringed bugles are embroidered onto squares of green cloth that have retained the colour. The three battle honours are placed evenly and the motto NOW OR NEVER appears twice. The Union wreath seems to be in better condition on this later Colour, than on the 23rd Colour. King Edward's crown sits on the central red title circle which reads WALLAJAHBAD LIGHT INFANTRY and 83 in Roman numerals.
