Bombay Infantry 1814

The reorganisation of 1796 gave each regiment 2 battalions. This 1814 schematic diagram shows all the Bombay units except Cavalry, although the Java Cavalry is included for some reason. The key at the bottom shows the meaning of the colours. Each regiment had different coloured facings, the lace was white for the men and silver for officers and senior NCOs. The European Regiment had only one battalion in 1814.
