The Yeomanry

Guidon and Escort c1965

This later photograph is from the 1960s and shows the guidon party of the Warwickshire and Worcestershire Yeomanry on parade. The guidon is carried by the Warrant Officer and escorted by sergeants, all in no.1 dress. The RSM behind them is also in no.1 dress. The sergeants carried drawn swords in this instance whereas the photo of the guidon party in 1958 shows the escort with pistols in holsters, and no swords.
