Colonel Charles William Paulet


Born 27th Sep 1832 died 8th April 1897. He was the son of Rev Lord Charles Paulet, and grandson of Charles Ingoldsby Paulet, 13th Marquess of Winchester. First married in 1863 to Susan Amelia Georgina Standish. They had 2 sons; Charles Standish Paulet who served in the WYC in the Boer War, and Cecil Henry Paulet who was killed in action on 26th Feb 1916. Second marriage to Mary Mildmay Clerk in 1890. He lived at Wellesbourne in Warwickshire, and commanded the Warwickshire Yeomanry from 9th June 1880 until 12th Dec 1891.
