Trumpeter 1820

In 1820 the regiment were ordered to wear red pelisses and red jackets with sky blue shakos, but the band and trumpeters had white pelisses and scarlet shakos. The jacket was all red, including the facings. This is one of a series of paintings by M Angelo Hayes to illustrate the history of the uniforms of the Yorkshire Hussars.
