The Yeomanry

Yorkshire Hussars Cap Badge

The bi-metal badge has a silver or white metal rose, feathers and motto, with a gilt or yellow metal coronet. It was worn from 1908 to 1956 on the caps of both officers and other ranks, also as a collar badge. The rose represents the white rose of the House of York and the feathers, coronet and motto represent the Princess of Wales who gave her title to the regiment in 1864.
