The Yeomanry

Officer's Undress Pouch

This black leather pouch was worn as a dress pouch before the scarlet cloth one was introduced c1856. There was only a silver rose, without the crown. It was worn with the silver laced pouchbelt and continued as an undress pouch up to 1914. The patent leather had become wrinkled with age. The silver edge was added in 1820.
