Private A B Swales


Private Swales died on 29th Sep 1918, of wounds received from a machine gun while he was laying a telephone wire at Epernay near Cambrai. He was in the 9th Battalion (Yorkshire Hussars), West Yorkshire Regiment. He was 25 years old, and is buried in Bucquoy Road Cemetery.
