| After the battle that broke the Hitler Line in Italy in May 1944 the regiment were withdrawn into reserve. These two men of the PPCLI stand in front of stretcher jeeps so must be medical orderlies. They have khaki drill bush shirts and denim trousers with regimental shoulder titles and divisional patches on each sleeve. |
