Camel Power

Palestinian Arabs often relied on outdated methods for agriculture. This was partly due to the lack of investment during the period of Ottoman rule, but also due to a lack of expertise on modern techniques and lack of access to modern equipment. This picture shows Bedouins using camel-power to drag a primitive plough over a rough field. A little expertise might have made this plot more productive.
