McDonald Hobley


McDonald Hobley was a well known BBC continuity broadcaster from 1946 to 1956 and later joined Granada television. He was born in Stanley in 1917 the son of the naval chaplain at Stanley Cathedral. In the 1980s he returned to the Falkland Islands with a Channel 4 team in order to make a documentary on Britain's links to the islands.
