Jacobite Surrender

Although associated primarily with Scotland, there were many English Jacobites also. This picture is entitled: Jacobite Troops Surrendering Their Arms to General Wills in Preston Market Place and illustrates the fact that there was widespread support for the Stuarts especially in Northern England.
