RML 7 Pounder

The Seven Pounder was a small portable gun that was used where the terrain was regarded as being difficult to traverse. It was frequently found in the Mountain Batteries of the North West Frontier where they remained in the hands of Indian artillerymen even after the events of the Indian Mutiny had meant that they were stripped of the ability to man any other artillery pieces.
