Trooper, 1751


A drawing taken from Morier's set of paintings in the Royal Collection (see Drumhorse 1750). The 1st Horse, as it was then retained the pale blue facings but the horse furniture is now a simpler design, having I H in a wreath of roses and thistles. The lace is white for troopers and silver for officers.
