Trooper, c1980

The other rank's uniform established just before World War 1 has lasted until modern times. The scarlet tunic has green facings with yellow cord round the edge of the collar and figuring on the cuff. The front edge of the tunic is edged with green piping. The pouchbelt and waistbelt are of white leather and a sword is slung from the waistbelt. The breeches are styled like johdpurs and worn with black Strathcona boots.
