8th Gurkhas

The 8th was one of the Gurkha regiments that went on the strength of the Indian Army after 1947. This NCO wears a cravat, an item worn by Indian regiments in recent years and not worn by British Gurkhas. He wears the 'hat felt Gurkha' which is two hats inside each other. He wears a striped sash under his waistbelt.
