17th Dogra Regiment

An officer of the 10th battalion which meant the training battalion in most post-1922 regiments. In fact 10/17th Dogra Regiment was also the centre of the Machine Gun Drivers' Training Company. The uniform of this officer has the yellow facings common to all three of the original Dogra regiments 37th, 38th and 41st. The 10th battalion was the successor to the 2nd battalion of the 41st that was raised in 1917.
