| A well decorated officer of the 1st battalion. He wears yellow facings on his scarlet tunic instead of the black facings of the 2nd Rajputs. The 1st and 2nd battalions came from the 2nd and 4th Rajputs, both wore black facings. The 3rd, 4th and 5th battalions came from the 7th, 8th and 11th Rajputs, all had yellow facings, and the 10th battalion came from the 16th Rajputs which had white facings. |
