Ahir of the eastern Punjab. A dark green turban and green fringe. The long skirted Kurta has a green collar whereas te other Hyderabad regiments have a red collar piped green. The stripe on his right arm is white. The rifle is slung in a strange manner so that the butt nearly touches the ground.. He has a medal for the Boxer rebellion of 1900.
