| The 13th was in India at this time, this photo being taken at Sialkot. Bayes won the King's medal for the Best Shot of the Army. He is wearing a Wolseley pattern foreign service helmet and khaki drill service dress. The white lanyard was worn in the former 13th Hussars and the monogram badge over his stripes was from the 18th. |
