Flag-poles and Guidon Belts 1820-1832

The pole used to carry the guidon was shaped like a knight's lance, with a pointed spear-head. These illustrations carefully painted by B T A Griffiths show the poles used for three different guidons. Guidon A refers to the blue Regimental Guidon of 1832. Guidon B refers to the crimson King's Guidon of 1832, and Guidon F refers to the Regimental Guidon 1820.
