Officers in undress wore this gilt shoulder scale on each shoulder. They were worn on the blue frock coat and on the stable jacket. A print by W Heath of this period shows officers in both orders of dress. The cypher PCW and laurel wreath are in silver on a gilt base. The small regimental button indicates the style of button worn on the dress uniform. |
