Harry Payne's illustration published in CRB Barrett's history of the 7th shows men of the regiment in pursuit of French soldiers. They are led by an officer who wears a crimson sash on his left shoulder and are crossing a stream which is a tributary of the River Dymel. Few details of their action are available so the scene is purely conjectural. |
