Hon George Berkeley Molyneux



Molyneux was born in 1799, the second son of the Earl of Sefton. He commanded the regiment for 13 years from 1828 to 1841. This painting of him was made in the 1830s when the pelisse was ordered to be red instead of blue. He died in August 1844 aged 45.
