Admiral Beauchamp Seymour


From 1880 to 1883 Beauchamp Seymour was Commander-in-Chief of the Fleet in the Mediterranean. He became an Admiral in May 1882. Later he awarded the Freeman of the City of London. he died unmarried and his peerage (was 1st Baron Alcester) became extinct.
