| Officers above the rank of Captain had extra decoration on the sleeve of their mess jacket in the form of a trefoil traced in dead gold gimp above the lace of the cuff. The 2nd regiment differed from the 1st in having a low cut waistcoat, showing a white shirt front. The 1st had a waistcoat that buttoned up to the neck. |
