| Russell served for only a few years and is seen here as a cornet. Officers had silver buttons and lace arranged in threes. His sword hangs from a waist belt and his officer's sash goes over that. He has a white waistcoat and buff breeches, The boots are now lighter, the change from the heavy sort having taken place in 1764. |
