64th Pioneers


Subadar-Major, 1903


Although 1903 was the year that the numbering changed' the King's Indian Orderly officers of that year were listed as being in the pre-1903 regiments with the old uniforms. Subadar-Major Mir Abbas, Bahadur wears a scarlet tunic with white facings. The turban is khaki with red and gold kullah and a red end with gold fringe. This did not change when the regiment became the 64th Pioneers.
