Captain James Wadell


Captain James Douglas Waddell, aged 43, of the 12th Battalion Royal Fusiliers was killed in action at the Battle of Loos along with the CO, Richard Garnons-Williams and Captain Sidney Phillips on 25th Sep 1915. He was born on 3rd July 1872 in Buckinghamshire. His parents were James and Ellen Wadell of Shenley House, Shenley Church End. In 1906 he was married to Isobel May.
