| The map shows places mentioned in the history of the regiment as red dots. Morvi and Gootoo are in the northern part of Kathiawar, and Kadorna, in the centre of the peninsula, is the location of Fort Kadorna Ranaka, disputed by the Rajas of Porbandar and Nawanagar. Ujjain can be seen at top right, where Colonel Murray’s column was headed in 1804, and Indore which was occupied by his force in August. |
