The Yeomanry

Officer's Pouchbelt

The Yorkshire Hussars adopted the Austrian wave pattern of lace on their silver pouchbelt. The edges were of scarlet cloth. There were no buckle, slide and tip on this belt, and no ornaments on the front. The belt was worn for many years and no early example exists to suggest that any other type was used.
