Colour Presentation 1912


The King’s Colour is being presented to the King’s Liverpool Regiment in 1912. A lieutenant receives the Colour from the Field Marshal. This illustration is by Edgar Holloway. The lieutenant wears a plain white leather Colour belt with a gilt belt plate. The Colour Party 1863 shows two officers wearing gold-laced belts on the right shoulder. The King’s Colour at this time had no battle honours.
