The British Empire and its effect on Plymouth

Ebrington Street

Ebrington Street was a key access road to the heart of Plymouth from the newly expanding East of the city. Tramlines traversed the road helping to cement it into an increasingly important commercial street. Originally Ebrington Street continued further West past Charles Church and reached Drake's Circus. New Palladium Picture Theatre which had been a roller skate hall was located on Ebrington Street.
