Pouch-Belt and Pouch 1817

The gold laced belt and pouch of a 10th Hussars officer was the style worn up to c1824 when it was replaced by the chainy belt and black leather pouch. This has the GP cypher and scroll inscribed PRINCE REGENT’S OWN. The gold lace on the belt is the same vellum-and-point pattern as seen on the sabretache of this period. The 10th became a gold laced regiment c1815.
