HMS Hermes and HMS Invincible

Had the invasion happened even six months later, Britain would not have had access to the two most important components of the Task Force; the Aircraft Carriers. Invincible had already been sold to Australia and Hermes to India but neither had yet been delivered. The British therefore pressed them into service and they played a vital role in at least challenging Argentine air supremacy over the islands.
