Second Life Guards

Field Officer's Gold Kit

A display at the Household Cavalry Museum at Combermere barracks showing the tunic with field officer's extra embroidery on the cuff and collar (see 1st Life Guards Officer's Cuff). The cuirass is almost covered by the gold lace pouch belt with its blue flsk cord and the heavy aiguilettes. The waist strap of the cuirass is a special 2nd Life Guards pattern, having the oak leaf design instead of straight gold stripes like the 1st.
