Officer's Mess Dress (cuff)

The black velvet pointed cuff has gold lace around the edge allowing a thin showing of black along the top. The ends of the lace turn down to the bottom of the cuff at the back seam and two small regimental gilt buttons are sewn to the red cloth. The gold lace is padded out at the point but flat on the inside of the sleeve.
