8th Hussars

Full Dress Uniform c1913

In Collaboration With Cristian Peer

This uniform belonged to William Peer who fought during the First World War. The vent in the skirt was pleated. The breeches were like jodhpurs in that they were baggy round the thigh but tight round the knee. The double yellow stripe down the side of the breeches was a single 2 inch wide piece of tape with a crimson line down the middle.
