| On the 5th Nov 1917 at the battle of Tekrit which took place 5 miles north of Daur the 13th made one of their Cavalry charges. 6 men were killed and 22 wounded. Two officers won the MC, 3 ORs won the MM and Tetheridge the DCM. |
