Drumhorse 1880

A composite painting by Orlando Norie dated 1880 includes these figures. The drumhorse here is no longer a grey horse and the drum banners have a wreath added to the design, also a crown over the deaths head. A scroll is indicated above the design which probably has 17th DCO LANCERS. This would agree with the drum banners in the 1896 photo, apart from the apparent absence of a garter inscribed with the regimental motto.
