Queen's Own Hussars

Bandmaster's Frock-Coat

The bandmaster was, along with the RSM the most senior non-commissioned officer in the regiment and wore a uniform of officer quality. He was the only man in the regiment to wear a frock-coat, an item of dress that had long since disappeared from the officers' wardrobe. The badges on his sleeve include the blue regimental NCO's badge and the band badge in gold embroidery.
