Squadron Sergeant-Major Riding Instructor A G Brown was a bronze medallist at the Royal Tournament in 1936. He is photographed in that year, in khaki service dress of the Queen's Bays with his badges of rank, a crown on each sleeve, the spur badge of a riding instructor and the regimental arm badge worn by Bays NCOs since 1909.
