| Cecil Aubrey Escombe was born in 1875, the son of Harry and Theresa Escombe (nee Taylor). He was commissioned into the 3rd Middlesex Artillery on 4 Mar 1893, and the Queen's Bays as a second lieutenant on 7 Jul 1897, and promoted to lieutenant on 24 Aug 1898. He married Susan Gladys in 1899. He died in 1920, aged 45 and Susan died in March 1921 aged 41. |
