Private Alexander McKay


This is an example of an embroidered picture used to commemorate the life and service of the soldier indicated. Sadly Private Alexander McKay died in Malta in 1832 aged just 24 years. This was likely to have been due to some kind of disease like Cholera, Typhus or Typhoid.
