The Dunbar Medal


The first campaign medal awarded in the British Army. The Coldstream Guards are the only surviving regiment to have won it for the part they played at the Battle of Dunbar. The obverse has Cromwell's head with THE LORD OF HOSTS inscribed. On the reverse is a scene of the House of Commons in session.
