CSM, No.1 Dress 1994


Other ranks of the Grenadier Guards wear the blue no.1 dress for parade rehearsals and other non-formal occasions. There are six buttons fastening down the front instead of the usual five. No collar badges are worn, but his badge of rank is worn, full size, on the right arm only. He is a Company Sergeant-Major, Warrant Officer Class 2. His forage cap has the highest grade of metal badge, and WO2 gold binding of 4 bars to the peak. The rank of WO1 has a 5 bar gold edge, and the drum-major has 3 bars.
